SPRAWL X MMADeal Holiday Giveaway

I wear size 38 for pants so I got the XL for the SPRAWL Gi-Flex Gi Pants and it fits nicely around my waist but the length was longer than a pair of traditional gi pants. A few cycles through the washer with hot water should do the trick though and if the length is still too long, you can always take in to a tailor for a final hem to get that perfect fit. One of the first thing you’ll notice when you put on these gi pants is the same adjustable waistband system that features drawstring, fly and Velcro closures. The same waist closure system is the same seen in their popular SPRAWL shorts such as the Sprawl Fusion Stretch MMA Fight Shorts. The advanced adjustable waist provides more comfort while maintaining the same level of hold that you expect.

I took the SPRAWL Gi-Flex Gi Pants open mat to get a genuine feel for the pants in the environment they were designed for. I quickly noticed that the pants didn’t feel as stiff and thick as the traditional gi pants I am used to wearing. The extra flexibility that the Flex Panel allows is apparent as I go for Triangles, defend in Spider Guard, or just transition. I would normally be limited in some of my movements as I advanced in different positions with most gi pants but with the SPRAWL Gi-Flex Gi Pants, the only thing that restriction is the limits of my flexibility. The SPRAWL Gi-Flex Gi Pants really deliver in the flexibility department with their Flex Panel gusset and are one of the best gi pants I’ve worn before. The mesh lining in the front of the legs prevented the pants from sticking when I got sweaty which is an added comfort.

Now let’s talk about the design of the SPRAWL Gi-Flex Gi Pants as we all know you’ve been waiting for it. Like all of SPRAWL’s shorts, the SPRAWL Gi-Flex Gi Pants have the SPRAWL Logo stitched across the Velcro waist closure. The SPRAWL Gi-flex Gi Pants look like any other pair of gi pants besides the “Gi-Flex By Sprawl” phrase embroidered on the back of the left leg and the embroidered SPRAWL logo on the side of the right leg. The pants feature single stitching along the sides of the leg and re-enforced triple stitching the back, inseam and gusset where the fabric will usually be stressed the most.

After putting the SPRAWL Gi-Flex Gi Pants through its paces, I can say that I have found one of the best gi pants out there. They are one of my favorite gi pants now with some adjustment to the length, they’ll be perfect. I’m loving the comfort of adjustable waist system and the Gi-Flex gusset gives me much more freedom when rolling. I’ve had a pair of other gi pants burst at the seam while I was rolling this one time but with these, I can rest easy.
